Was I Dreaming

Hell when the wind blows over howling fiercely cold in different voices twisting inside the whistling tunes in torment One from a past long buried a ghost appears wishing in beats of hail reliving the past darkness Then the thunder roars reality as the lightning lights up a December night sky flashing inner vision my coming fate awaits such pains returned the awful nightmare awakens looking up such sadness gripping the heartache small crystal balls sparkling rain down Alone I light my candle wishing black a ring around the wrists I tighten steel begin to pray to God within the pain of swelling wrists smiling feeling peace in innocence Tears fall in such shattered dreams with a promise full of happiness love As you began to know me I felt our future bright together golden sands our spirits and souls danced Into the realms within a fortress crowing queen we both wished that day to stay here together forever

Dreams are a kind of second life, aren't they? At times it's difficult to distinguish between the two lives... Sometimes life is like a dream...sad or exuberant... Lovely

Very beautiful but kind of sad poem Liam! Do not let the the past or shattered dreams from the past steal or destroy any of your present and future beautiful dreams. I really enjoyed reading it my dear friend. A 7 +++ for you! May you feel the warmth and presence of God and all his angels ! :) Love and Hugs! xxxxxxx D.

In our brokenness, down on our knees, longing for the moment to come back . . .powerful emotions . . .but stronger is the hope for tomorrow -- not the same dream but different but wholly satisfying. Nicely done my good friend.

- A deep and touching poem, dear Liam - Dreams are the biggest adventure you can experience - not always you get to experience the life you dream about - but we hope that some dreams can become real :) - oxox // Anne-Lise :)
