Until The Moon Melts

Liquid light formation floating in my hair upside down seaside I dreampt of your eyes filling my stare streaks of ribbon helium balloon's surrounds the shoreline in a sacred cocoon the gathering of when the sky falls we all take our place the moon melts in my hands the stars fall into your face becoming one the elements ignite the tide pulling at me I’m drawn to the night we dance in slow motion chanting to the universe swaying with the rhythm of a monsters eyelash short stories growing and we sneak into the past time won’t determine where love is taken mistaken dreams pleasantly forsaken a basket case bouquet flares of reds and gray destroying mars hearts igniting stars we race to the end of the world each one falling another soul filled with longing to it’s rightful place our hearts as our torch filling the world cracked and chipped break and bend we dig right in to the core of the earth mixing emotions in a Dixie cup pass it around we all drink it up a pinch of your hate a burden of killing the boss sweet aroma of percolating loss strongest ingredient still tastes of love I take my place as the moon where it chose I be you are the star shining your glory next to me for 1,000 years this is where I will be next time they promised; I could come back as the sea
