Untied laces

just realized this ticking of the clock
the subtle flow of the birdsin a flock
the passing days, the setting sun
the gentle breeze,the lost one
every year, i go far away from the memories
how fast it is, and how irreversible?
the times i had, with a a few of my best friends
all nighter every day, laughing at the regular trends
skinny dippin at the darkest hour
watching movies, on the projector on tais tower
fights and sprowls , kissing and flowers
those years had everything droughts and showers
pigging out at random weddings, people trying to recognize us uninvited guests
dancing with the bride and running as fast as we can, when they looked at us as suspects
weird experiments, burning hangers in the kitchen

those trippy moments in that haunted apartment,
the worst of the memories , the best experiments
baked goods and cookies, made us high
watching darjeeling limited laugh and cry
their girl problems my guy issues
always had an advice although none of us had a clue

planning our future ,dozing off while smoking weed
we were always broke, no money for gas
sleeping till noon, playing videogames all night
while helping me out with my lipstick colors and girl fights
grabbing each others collar to give us chocolates
pitching in money to get a pack of cigarettes
getting fired from jobs , failing tests
half an hour of comfort drink, how soon we would forget
"you are not made to work under someone""einstein also failed"
the same old motivational speech behind the broke frame
making future plans, plans of becoming big
one wanted to be a boxer, one wanted to sing
promising each other with a blunt in our hand
never to let go,till eternity together we will stand
even if we separate we vowed to reunite every year
we believed staying away would be something we cant bear

how i miss those people, the ones i shared my everything
from money to my dreams, discussing our summer fling
we held hands and walk through the flood
cracking death jokes, enjoying the scariest moments with kisses and hugs
i loved my boys, their expeditions were mine
we all found each other in the loneliest times
and its been ages since i last saw their faces
at the airport they came with untied laces
they hugged me told me this is not it
handed me a list of things i was suppose to bring
the moments were precious , we didnt know then
time never goes back no matter how much we begged and yelled
