Unknown Waters

Swells of the ocean currents Rolling in forward motion Crashing upon rocks Slow methodical a non stop serenade repeating repetition A storm awakens In it's fury and anger Tosses and turns Foaming at the mouth Breaks free Toil and trouble In dark turbulent water Dares all who would venture Beckoning souls towards death into unknown waters.

This was dark but so beautifully crafted. I could feel the cold winds flowing from the menacing sea as I read this today. Nicely crafted Phyllis

Thank you Chris. The ocean has so many faces and is so unpredictable that I love to write about it. Guess being from the prairies it hold some fascination to me. love phyl
