Today's Thankful Thoughts

I'm thankful for each one who's touched my heart For those who in my life have played a part I'm thankful for the ones who showed me grace Whose love and care in every line I trace I'm thankful for the ones who've seen me cry Who held me as they brushed tears from my eye I'm thankful for the ones who made me dream Whose light shone in my darkness with a gleam I'm thankful for the ones who made me strong Who showed me what is right and not the wrong I'm thankful to my God for granting life Who's there in my tranquility and strife I'm thankful for it all, for now I see That though there's pain, there's joy in being me Eileen Manassian

I love the positive attitude that you pass on to us in these couplets. Often we tend to look at what goes bad in life, at our ills and woes, while forgetting all the good things that come our way each and every day. We have to be grateful for being blessed with worthy acquaintances...and true friends ...you being one of them! hugs // paul

I've had some blood tests done...waiting results. Hopefully I'll get something to help me with my....fatigue...which affects my moods. Hugs

Yes, let us rejoice and be glad. Incidentally, I'm off to church in about an hour. Leading out in the singing. My favorite time. I'm so psyched because for the second service, we will sing JOYFUL JOYFUL WE ADORE THEE! Oh...how I love that hymn. Often the hymns are ABOUT God, but this one is sung TO Him...That is true worship. Thanks for your visit. Hugs

Oh, sweetie...was it that last line? Yes, sometimes I really don't like who I am, and other times, I accept and am thankful for what the Lord has given me. I'm an unruly child. I'm so grateful that His mercy is greater than all my nonsense. Thanks for your lovely visit. Hugs
