Tip of the Sword

Some people call me stupid and clumsy
But I make up for it with heart and honesty
I do not have the finest car
I am not some big movie star

I do not have a lot of dough
But I want everyone to know
That I will never back down
Nor will I ever wear a frown

And I will always try my best
Even though I am not tougher than the rest
And thanks to the good Lord
I am at the tip of the sword

This is a very honest piece, and I like that. My only suggestion would be to tighten up your rhyme scheme a bit to make it flow a little more effortlessly. Even out your metre and prosody. Good read; honesty makes for a captivating poem :)
