Till Morning Comes

Dare to breathe, hold your breath
Hope his footsteps stop dead
Head will burst if tears don’t stop
Hide hide till morning comes

Raging Raging
To scared to speak
Lie down ,stay quiet
No fear will be
Hide hide till morning comes

Music Blaring screaming shouting
Midnight passes two and three
Dare to take a look and see
The damage he left
Oh cruelty
No hide hide till morning comes

Nothing left no soul to keep
All pain and sorrow
He weeps and blames
No more
No more

Awake a new
Sweep pain away with splintered glass
He’ll change He’ll change
Smiles cover the tears

Till next time comes….

A sad write, poetically chronicling an achingly sad situation. Thanks for sharing.
