The Wind Is Calling

The wind is calling to me again. It comes from the sea over the mountains. It seems to be calling out my name. Come to me in the darkness of the night. As I watch the day pass ever so slowly. I will be going to where it's calling out to me. Going to where the mountains meet the sea. To where there is no one but me. To where the tide never stops. As the moon guides me along my way. To where the shadows cross the sea. Just to see what I will find. I'm going to the rocks by the sea. To where the wind is taking me. By the moonlight of the darkness of the night. I wrote this way back in 1972- 73,,,, Andrea said I should post the old one's back when I first started keeping track. So here's one of them.

You are in tune with the forces of nature and the wonders of this world of ours. That is a fine and preceptive element that you will always have. It is great to read about and experience your take in these words.

yes the sea has a definite power to draw, and time there spent, on the deep blue maw, infects you mentally.... great poetry babe...

This is beautiful, Debbie! Feels like a place to simply be.:) I used to go sit at the end of the pier where we'd lived, and just be, this reminds me of those times. Keep well and as for my sister who'd felt like biological outcast, she was our best and most favorite friend.:) Love, Mikki

Really, where the end ends, it's very difficult to trace. It's like mystic destination. Good luck for the contest. Loved always, bl

A good old poem. I enjoyed reading it. Particularly that mysterious quality it has. The unspoken, yet felt.

Nubile sense of elonquence Debbie. The music took us in those days to the mistic place where passion plays. Desiring only to escape into a world beyond the cape.

I like this mystic whispering poem, Debbie. Yep! For me my old poems are best because they are more spontaneous, kind of corny, but fresh. Thanks for reading my stuff. Love, daver
