THE WHITE SCREEN OF DEATH

THE WHITE SCREEN OF DEATH 'Tis the white screen of death When Poetry Soup won't load. Is it now my laptop that has crashed Or Poetry Soup on overload? It strikes terror in our poets' hearts Right around the globe. What do we do when we can't share? We pull out our hair, we think we might explode. Where are our friends with whom we link The daily thoughts and prose we pen? They are our life line in this haven, On whose comments we depend. 'Tis a sad and sorry sight To see decline in poets' health When Poetry Soup won't load - 'Tis the end we fear, the white screen of death. © ELR 2013

Heaven forbid we should have to sit and converse with the family LOL. You are too funny, dear Jack. Did you experience the 'white screen of death' this evening, as well? All's well that ends well.... xox
