The Wedding

Rise to meet the marriage of the unveiling
Storm the sensational with speculation
Place the blame on one eyewitness
And the marrow of the blind
Blooming spectacle of divisive colors
I wander into your wedding
I am clothed with a penalty
Replaced by touch reserved for joy
Received in birth taken by force
And complete in condemnation
These stones that rain down
This harvest in retreat
With shaking sacrifice my hands bless
And with abandon I devour
The wings of sails

An amazing feeling, you pinned through this wedding. Maybe cold feet. Or freedom.... the soul knows...good poem David. ..xox...Linda

Thanks PD , it's about a relationship gone bad and the ex gets married to another and I show up uninvited.... but it's all in my head. I almost wrote a disclaimer in this poem stating I wasn't there. I could feel the intensity building and it scared me haha, Dave
