Author's Note: This particular love poem, "The Warmth of Our True Love," is rendered in the Terzanelle poetic format. This poem speaks of true love being forever, and since "love" is God's gift to us, it shall never leave us. The destiny of two people as they share the emotion and ecstasy of their love is part of the larger divine nature of God's very love which touches the depths of their souls. This theme is arrayed against the structural requirements for the Terzanelle made for a challenging, yet a most interesting write. The phrasing of certain parts of the verses reflect some subtle comparative hints of metonymy and metaphor. This poem is also a continuation of the theme of the "oneness of love" that I've presented in earlier love poems, whereby two people together can share this "oneness" in this life and later in eternity.
