The Ten Commandments

So why did God give Moses the Ten Commandments?
They seem simple enough
Do not kill
Do not steal
Do not covet
As his greatest creation
Should we not see the value
Of following rules so powerful
In their simplicity?
Look at the news
Murder, robberies, rape, incest, desiring what others have
The garden of eden has turned into
The Cesspool of Despair
For many
Language, the most powerful weapon
Destroys through gossip, rumours, lies
Builds and creates with beauty and love
Poets, on the Front Lines, keep writing
Help people see beauty and courage
Maybe one day, more people will read

... the most beautiful prose of all<< I love that line! I understand what you're saying. Nowadays, laws are so vague they can't be bent and twisted in anyway they set fit. Using ambiguity for their own selfish gain... while the Ten Commandments couldn't be clearer.
