The Right Speed Answer

to a parent who see's them everyday growing will be so slow. but to one who see's them once a year, oh how fast they will grow. and when the nest is empty and all the fledglings gone. the speed of time will suddenly catch up while the parents begin to long. but hope is in the grandchildren who they'll see growing so fast. and then they'll know the cycle from beginning to the last

You said it. Our little ones grow so fast it makes us realize how fast time is going. If you only see a child once a year they will have grown leaps and bounds but even in the first years they grow quickly. Two weeks ago , Rylan learned to say I love you. That made my day. I was on cloud 9. Yes, it is wonderful to see the circle of life. EXCELLENT POEM. love phylsxmp

So true, John. Parents rarely notice how much their child is growing, but those who see the child once a year notice a remarkable change. Your great poem takes us full cycle and shows that once the parents have grandchildren, they will seem to grow quickly. Excellent write, dear friend. Love you, Carolyn
