The Return

The quiet, at the beginning Is suddenly disrupted by a rush Of light and sound Chaos and confusion Drive and dominion takes course Lack of experience and insight the source Accelerating away from the initial calm of what once was The quiet in the midst Is burdened by the distraction and discord By need and necessity Other wills and other ways Light and sound now complicate Deeds and desires resonate Increasing the distance and diminishing the importance of what once was The quiet before the end Now lost from time, tide and total disregard Dark and delusional Where all that remains removed Is coloured and consumed Life and longing to the acknowledgement of what once was The quiet in the beyond Returns

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
