The Ravens of God

With a sword too heavy to swing
I write without inspiration or indoctrination
Sealing the fate of stars on fire and a secret calling
Predictions from the stove top whistles resonate
Divine ovarians whisper tick tock
Hopeless are the dreams of rotting leaves
A lesser voice to satisfy the cup half empty
Shouts of praise from death pew 3
Suggesting resurrection
The fate of amplification and table scraps
Enclose me visibly on the dread of conformity
While shaking heads prevail
Voodoo Baggins and hysteria
Pacify the homeless with cardboard dreams
Exscareamental theology on a bed of nails
Concerning the dead , duty is a one time fascination
Congregate to segregate
Our sacred compromise - saints for sale
Ration the love of the three- fold dove
Devotees advance on the sorrow of man
Melancholy is my sizzle
As the spoils are divided
In the wilderness only the ravens of God hear your cries
The show must go on
