The Questioning Life
The chapter in my life remains in questions,
Am I going to make my it at the end of the line?
The cold, dark hole is where I stand,
Will I make it out in time with no one's hand?
My feet taken me lower,
Into the darkness and it's hard to breathe,
Others tend to look the other way,
All I can do is stand still,
Filled with silent cries,
I will remain here for a while,
Still with patience and with faith,
My fire is still burning,
And it won't go out,
Until I choose when it's over.
That's what I'm all about.
People's questions still yet to come,
You will see when I am done.
Will I master this test ?
