The Magic of Moon

She seduced my soul when I saw her dressed in her ethereal evening gown As I was sitting under the stars gazing at her without making a single sound It was that mesmerizing nightfall when my lone heart was filled with delight As I watched her celestial figure sliding across the heavens sharing her light Since then a happy prisoner of her incomparable beauty I incessantly remain Forever praying the moment to come for to find myself in her magic domain! © Demetrios Trifiatis 28 MARCH 2014 *NOT FOR CONTEST

How couldn't I stay within her divine beauty when she my subconscious world governs so affectively? Thank you so much for visiting and making such a gracious comment dear Toquyen!

YES! The moon is my muse so you can imagine how excited I am to see you write such a respectful and romantic poem about this entity! I often go outside, even in the cold, and look up at the moon when it is pitch black outside, and it is always so very beautiful! I really enjoyed reading this delightful poem this evening! What a tremendous poem my friend! Great Work! I didn't have internet this week, that is why I haven't been online! But it is all done now, I should be alright now!

See also my answer to Andrea and to Tiaua! I am happy you enjoy the moon as much as I do, probably that is the reason we are romantic!

Romanticizing the moon. If there really is a Goddess of the moon, she must really love all the many beautiful poems we write to honor her!!

Dearest Andrea, the Goddess moon or Luna or Selene, is Goddess A Artemis ( Diana), daughter of Zeus by Leto (Latona); twin sister of Apollo. Apollo was the Sun God and his sister the Moon Goddess. Apollo represents the conscious Man and his sister Artemis the subconscious! Apollo's temples were built where the sun good see them while his sister's inside the forests! Women as you know follow the Moon! Since I admire women I follow the moon! Ha-ha!
