The Love of Jesus
Jesus loves me, I know it's true,
He gave His life for me and you.
On Calvary's hill He bled and died,
Paving a way to Heaven's side.
Jesus loves me, amazing thought,
His precious blood my pardon bought.
My sins have since all been erased,
And I've been saved by God's great grace.
Jesus loves me, He loves you too.
I have no doubt His word is true.
He said if we would just believe,
Into His kingdom we'd be received.
Thank You, Jesus, for loving me,
Enough to die upon that tree,
Trading your righteousness for my sin,
And sending Your Spirit to dwell within.
