The Last Oak Leaf

My heart goes out to the last Oak leaf The one that clings until the early spring When the buds swell giving a nudge The last leaf that falls onto the earth The new bud full of vitality__youth comes forth To experience life_spring green_then summer's depth Fall comes to it bringing the color of autumn russet The cycle has nearly gone full circle__winter slowly moves in the last leaf falls
