The lady of the lake

The lady of the lake

The lady of the lake on water glides;
fair Guinevere, the bride of Queen Ygraine
sails far, to her beloved King Arthur's terre.

Her kinship with the distant Lord's soul guides
the boat of ebon and bequeathal bane,
his sovereign wraith and her eternal prayer.

    Before I even saw your mention of it, I knew what contest this was for. Nice descriptive interpretation of the young lady waiting in the boat. Congrats and poetic hugs!

    I couldn't find , neither here nor on another site,, must be mistaken then. Well this seems a bit incomplete. I say that since it's Arthurian, and there's Guinevere,one wishes to read more. Add some more whenever you can...
