The Handbag

It is true that if something falls in it will never find it's way out,
and if you're looking for something you'll never find it
as seas of tissues drift along the bed
and hairbrushes lie tangled with clips and bands
and a disused lipstick tarnishes the lining.

If you're in a hurry
you'll never find it in time
and if your patience eludes you
you'll never find the camera
to take that shot.

My love is huge!
But it is minute when compared with
my girlfriend's handbag.
