The Future Starts Now

Darkened clouds danced mightily for days thunder shook and lightning struck children took cover and old men wept finally the clouds stubbornly have been pushed away a loving sea breeze takes anchor and warms a chilly day I stand on the shore captivated by her beauty hues of orange and red fill a brand new sky a salty mist caresses my lips "somewhere over the rainbow where blue birds fly" resonates in my mind Reminding that there is hope and it's going to be okay White foam surf crashes into me and I can't help but smile for The past is long gone and the future starts now

Had to come hither for a Tim Smith Fix... And found a very delightful poem in the mix... Thoughtful and a beauty added to the mix... Using great imagery as building bricks... I couldn't ask for better as I watch your mind as it ticks... Very nice piece! I believe you and The Silent One are the best poets here.

Etheric and aesthetic your poetic muse dear Timotheos! You have noticed my friend, that five out of eight words are Greek! Your name including: "The one who honors God!" Excellent! A seven!

Hi Tim. How are you, my friend. I like this one a lot. Such a wonderful way to look at life. And a very contagious attitude for all around. Life is full of ups and downs, we must accept and learn from them and thank God for the opportunities He has given. Thanks for sharing this one Tim..... Robert.
