The Eagles Concert

Memorable songs touching our lives over the years. Magical musical harmonies, tantalizing our listening ears. Sentimental lyrics with chosen tranquil words. Perfect sounds in those resonating guitar chords. What a surreal feeling watching them play. Got lost in the moment, as I was taken away. Memories were made as they rocked all their fans. A Classic, Hotel California, was played. Over and over again... Long live Glenn Frey Michael Tor 8/20/2015 One of many fans of the Eagles Band. How can one NOT be a fan of the Eagles. So many great hits... It was a sad day when Glen left us :( Thanks for reminding me of the Eagles :) I'll have to ask Lexa to play me some tunes today. Great first poem, Michael.

Hey Charlie just saw your comment buddy. Sorry for the late respond. Yes they are a great band as a drummer in a band years ago I love playing their songs. I have all of them including their Desperado album. Goes to show how old I am lol. Thank you Charlie for your comment. Will stop by to read your latest works...

Thanks Harry great band love them, saw them in Buffalo with my brother they did one more show with Glenn Frey before he past. Glad I went to see him for the last time. Great musicians Don Henley, Joe Walsh, Timothy b Schmidt. Thanks for visiting Harry. Hope your doing well my friend...

Last night I rummaged through my DVD's. ALAS! I found my "Eagles Farewell Live from Melbourne Tour" Cranked up the Bose and was immersed for hours. Never a better more unique accurate group. It was so good I read all the credits and was sad when it was over! Love your poem "The Eagles Concert", Michael!

I'm also a huge Eagles Fan who loves to see well written poems with such clarity! I feel as though I was sitting right beside you singing in unison to one of the greatest bands ever!! You keep writing Micheal and making us all smile :-)

The Eagels are my ABSOLUTLE favorite band! I had to read this. I'd just love to hear them once again live. "She came from paradise, born in Road Island. Where the old world shadows hang, heaving in the air." Poetry and music together...YES! Thank you for this fun, nostalgic poem. VERY WELL KEYED!

If you wrote a poetry book I would buy it. I feel guilty for reading your talents without paying. I sincerely mean that.

What lovely memories Michael, I would dearly have loved the chance to see the Eagles - the closest I got was going to a Glenn Frey gig many years ago. I get the late night DJ on the local radio station to play me the live version of hotel California - what awesome music:-) hugs jan xx
