Take Me Away From

Take me away from here
To just get away from it all
Let us heed love's call
Just leave everything behind us
Hassles, interruptions, and the fuss
We could start anew
You only need me and all I need is you

Take me away from here
Nothing matters as much as you
No one make me feel like you do
Akin to oxygen for lungs is your presence
Happiness eludes me in your absence
I'm sorry if I sound selfish
My fears in you only do I confide
Truth is I need you by my side

Take me away from here
Anywhere but here will suffice
With you I want to spend the rest of my life
The choice is yours where we go
I trust your judgment with my heart and soul
As long as I'm with you I'm down 100%
Love like ours is surely heaven sent

Take me away from here
Even when you're gone for a few
It's still hard to function without you
Our love is strengthened by the simple things you do
Every time I hear your voice I fall harder for you
I never knew anyone could affect me this way
I grow deeper in love with you everyday

Take me away from here
You engage my brain and warm my heart dear lover
Lay next to me, let's comfort each other
Hold me and I'll sleep in your arms
Oh how you bedazzle me with your charm
You do everything within reason I ask you to
Know that I'll do all the same for you

Take me away from here
You make me happy above all else
Pleasing you is synonymous with pleasing myself
Nothing or no one compares
If you need me I'll always be there
Let's just get away from here
