Just That Archaic Poet

The ironic thing is that I loath haikus, but I have read several on here that have changed my mind about the genre. For a brief moment, I was on the front porch with watermelon juice running down my chin, spitting seeds with you with a chorus of crickets in the background. Really a lovely read. I live in the foothills of the Appalachian mountains, so I agree with Mitch; love the country feel. Kudos for writing something that has helped change my mind (which isn't easy to do lol). :)
