Interesting expression. I have felt my heart all askew in many fashions. Now I want to go buy that black dress.

a very profound way to twist her heart. The imagery goes a long way in my mind Russell, a free sense and restriction, that pulls her away from the most remote of the sources. enjoyed~ Linda

I can visualize her personality so well in this senryu... like in an old-time well with an overly bashful damzel (hey that rhymed!) going "Who, little ole me?". It's not very often I read about a persons character so well described in a Japanese short poem. Very nicely done indeed!
