spring fever

Whispers of come balmy wind,
Breathe warmth against neglected skin
Ice liquesce drip, drip on a window sill

Sunshine caresses repressed ground,
Flowers orgasmic in beds resound.
Laughing winds tickle the chill.

Robins sing a cheery tweet, tweet,
Bare branches shimmy to changing heat.
Eager to satisfy nude branches green.

Knock, knock on wood, spring social call,
Striping away winter's white shawl.
Encouraging squint-eyed buds gleam.

Mud-wrestling, mating dance, reticence's end
Welcome, welcome old friend
Wipe wet-dreams at the door.

Come in, come in welcome spring
Nature gracious for satisfactions you bring
Inhibitions melt at pebbled shore.
