Spring
SPRING
Spring,
Unfrozen dream of a bitter
Cold night
Sprung at the heart of
Despair,
Daughter of winter,
Mother of summer,
Herald of hope!
Your beauty unsurpassed
Your youth incomparable,
Your vigor, unimaginable becomes,
Under
The caresses of the caring
Sun.
Spring,
How much I yearn into
Your arms for ever to
Be,
To hear the melody of:
The joyous birds
The murmuring brooks
The playful leaves,
Trumpeting your glorious
Rebirth,
Incarnated by the spouts of
The devoted seeds,
Servants of immortality.
Oh spring,
Let me drink from the dew
Of your youth,
Thus
Young myself to become
Again!
