Snow Angels

Here I lie in the solace of my bed Wrapped up in these sheets of grey Looking out past the frosted glass Out into the pitch dark of night Oh the white puffs falling down Little cotton balls so fluffy So pure Blanketing the barren ground Brightening up the darkened night Remembering our time together those little snow ball fights you putting snow down my back you're first snow angel How I want those days back Here I lie in the solace of my bed wondering could you? would you? Still be mine I know it feels right Only time will tell if you'll be my snow angel

It reminds us about the recently seen movies Avatar and its special effects, especially the image in which the main character entered in a kind of superior world of strange blue beings...and kind of white flakes (coming from a sacred tree) gather round about him as attracted by purity and innocence.Well it`s a very poetical image and your poetry has also other wonders.Life a little a bit different...but you know the Man who brings the rain...

This brought back memories of making snow angels when I was a kid... I really enjoyed this romantic story in a winter setting. Wonderful imagery, Tim!

love what you commented to me about that foul tasting kimchi. OMG, grossest food ever. HOw a population can stand it just really astounds me. Well, I probably would be the one Korean not to like it. I also do not eat ham or pork. My whole family loves it (as well as most americans) but I just hate that meat!

I was trying to sleep today (night duty), and it was 40°c outside, made for a hot house. So I liked the thought of reading a snow poem. And what a great choice I made, while the title read cool, the words would warm the coldest winters day. A pleasure to read.
