Simple Things
I enjoy the sound of the rain, as it, taps on
my window,
Enjoying, the spring breeze, as I, watch the
leaves blow;
The sound of a child, as they squeal with
delight;
I find comfort and solitude in the dark of the
night,
The smell of the ocean and sand on my feet,
Making small talk with people you meet,
The beauty of a bride on her special day,
The months in the spring March, April, and
May;
All of the seasons, as they, come and go;
Bringing with them rain, sun, or the snow;
The excitement you feel when you first fall in
love,
Heavenly blessings sent from above,
Enjoying good books and the stories they
tell,
Relaxing upon a ship that sets sail,
The hope of a wish upon a star,
Traveling new places both near and far,
The beauty of miracles and answered
prayers,
The unselfish acts of someone who cares,
The grace of an eagle, as it, lets it's wings
fly;
Rainbows, clouds, and the blue of the sky,
I like taking time to appreciate simple things,
I take great fulfillment in what tomorrow
may bring,
Admiring the work of our Creator's hand,
The beauty he's placed, all, across the lands
