Hi ya!  Just a quick hello to let you know who I am.  I'm a bit of a now-and-then ditty writer (I think it might be a little pretentious to call them poems) who despite my best endeavours leans more towards Pam Ayres than Wordsworth, but as long as I make people smile then that's ok I guess.  I'm now retired and have been rebooting myself with writing and gardening and generally having fun. I do a bit of voluntary work, mostly teaching older people IT skills and trying to pass my considerable passion for all things gadgety to them. I've a lovely hardworking husband, and am the unashamedly proud mum of two gorgeous daughters who are now both doctors.  My substitute child is a mad mongrel called Suki and I have a pond overflowing with beautiful goldfish (goodness, I wish they'd stop breeding for a bit!).
