See Ya In Heaven

In the seven years since I officially retired Have had trouble keeping my old brain active A major activity that's filled the void Is P-Soup which has kept my brain captive Owe my well being to this wonderful site Anxiously checking my inbox To see who's sent me these glowing responses Check it before donning my socks Addicted, I'd have to say that's true But life would be quite boring without it You people boost my ego every day Might survive but I really kinda doubt it So on my tombstone they'll probably inscribe He died in an extremely poetic way His last words rhymed as they closed the casket “That's all I have to say today” © Jack Ellison 2014

Hey you need to move down here and help me raise chickens and rabitts and fish and mow three acres and cut wood and garden and can food and make jelly and quilts and so on so on ..you would never have to worry again about keeping that brain active..but I'm addicted to soup friends too..:-) :-) :-) And so love my visits as well....:-) :-) :-)

Yep! Dragon cheers up the saddest of hearts with his antics. It's been 6 years since my company folded and I retired! I was 54, but my health stopped me from getting get any jobs. I was perfectly fitted in my Grandfather clause as a Chemist. Did a great job. Worried when left with my disability. That's when 'the Trolls in the Basement' showed up. Followed by Grandpa Troll, who gave me a Dragon egg... The rest is history! My tombstone will read... Dragon egg any one? (or so Hubby has promised).

They say if you don''t use it you lose it and that goes for your brain too dear brother Jack! I now log on to my soup account before anything else - quite a change from before - just wish we all sometimes got more feedback when 180 read a poem and about 4 comment, but I will keep posting cos I love my soup diet and have to continue with it! Hugs sis Jan xxxx

Does the word "addition" mean anything to you! LOL Sure describes this old duffer! BTW the few comments to post ratio is quite normal except for a very few of our veterans. It's not a reflection on how you write... people are just overwhelmed by the sheer volume of posts! That's how brother Jack see it anyway! Love to you sis... don't get discouraged! Jack XOX
