Author's Notes: This new Tanka on "Sadness" is a companion write to the one I formerly posted not long ago on the theme of "Happiness." Naturally, the latter theme here is also the preferred option and the way to go in orienting one's life direction for positive living and constructive outcomes. Good advice. Sad that we as modern humans do experience deep hurt but I believe that experiencing emotions helps us to grow to be better people and also be empathic with others who experience hurts. Thanks for dropping by. Sara

Hello Sara, Thanks for your read here and very observant comment. I agree with you. "Deep Hurt" is certainly not pleasant at all, but the key is to learn from it and strive to be better. One also learns to avoid making the same mistake twice. Cheers and All The Best!! Gary
