Roses For Jenny
Jennifer Ellen,
the second-born after me,
lacks confidence and
cannot seem to realize
that she is second to none!
Always caring for
her sisters, who are living
far away from her,
Jenny longs for family;
her pangs are the sharpest felt.
The sister I’ve grown
closer to though we’re apart -
the one of the four
who thrills to my poetry -
has become my champion.
Roses for Jenny -
loved by family and all
whose lives she touches.
She is more than a sister;
She is a friend forever.
