Revenge

To one day see you... to one day walk towards you with beguiling smile all the pain of yesterday hidden away... apparently forgotten there is a gleam in my eye as I come nearer My floral scent has already reached you embracing, intoxicating I see my power... and I come nearer I flip back my luxuriant mane it drives you insane the pain of this chance meeting in your eyes... I look up to you I lean in for a greeting kiss I linger a moment longer than necessary to unleash old feelings let them ride like wild horses thundering through your body until you are shaking I release in a tide all that I am I stand there smoldering a vision in scorching red it gets to your head to have you see how people look at me to see how they look at you with eyes of envy And then HE makes his presence known arms around my waist you can't see his face it is buried deep in my tresses where he is leaving kisses Then he tilts my head back and devours my lips with his kiss showing his ownership Ah....but to know to know you are watching to know you are suffering to know that regret is clutching at your throat with bitter bile I'll smile when my kiss is through and give you a tight hug pressing into you and say... in words dipped in sugar "Fancy meeting you, dear... It's been a while Looking good, there. Take care. Don't forget to smile." Then to walk away with HIM only to look back for you to see my face glowing with glee to blow you a little kiss sheer bliss Revenge is sweet Eleen

Kick him where it hurts my dear. He must deserve it. You are strong and you will be happy. God has a path you must follow and trust that He will bring you to happiness once again Missed you. Glad to know where you are again. Blessings and love Edith

Ohhh devil in red!!! devil in disguise!! How lucky we are to be able to use our fertile imagination in this way! But you have thought about revenge before, Eileen and you take pleasure in dishing it out. No wonder your face glows with glee:) hugs // paul

WOMAN: A force of nature that even nature cannot put up with. How happy I am to be...only your friend! If revenge is sweet then this poem is the nectar of the Olympians! Masterfully devilish, dear Eileen! A seven!

I like this, so often it is through the other perspective, a scene like this played out, but through the eyes of tiger, well done!

They do say the best revenge is doing well. In this case you have to wonder if the character you developed is truly happy because if she was the pleasure of her new relationship would have eclipsed her desire to see her former lover hurt. This betrays her heart for it sounds as though she still desires him. I think your write has layers beyond the layers, bravo my dear.

YOU have an astute mind. Yes...you are right. If the narrator did not yet care for him she would not have wanted so much to see him PAY! Wow. Good one, Richard. You know the NARRATOR so well! :) We manipulate our writes...that is all we can do...Real live characters cannot be manipulated...Make believe...is sometimes sweet. Hugs

Yes, Liam. Revenge is born of pain and disappointed love. It is born out of neglect to nurture a heart that's true. We write of different emotions that we experience at different times in our lives, my dear. That is the joy of writing.

Revenge is a terrible seduction of pride, and can only be bestowed upon those deserving it's hot humility. There is a difference between revenge and justice, one is by choice, the other must be. You do look gorgeous in red revenge Eileen. You know how to deliver pain as well as pleadure, a consequence of severe beauty. That 4th verse is hot and cruel...J.A.B.

Thank you, Justin...You are so right. There IS a difference between revenge and justice. It is with relish that this would unfold...with relish to see pain....with relish to see regret...When one has given ALL and not been appreciated, or loved....there is only sweet revenge to give life to the bones. The narrator knows this well and knows how to inflict pain. Timing is everything. Hot and cruel...Yes. Why not? Thanks for the visit and for the affirmation of this little scene.

:) Dr Upma....this is a little story that took place in my head....Different scenes...differences places....but revenge is central to the story. I know it is not a particularly good trait to speak or write of...But you know the saying well, "Hell knoweth not the fury of a woman scorned." ;) Hugs

Definitely seems like YOU behind these words... one side sweet and innocent... and the other passionate and spontaneous. "Fancy meeting you dear"... << great build-up to this part. I could feel the raw emotion. Looks like you enjoyed your moment in the sun ;)

Oh...I did, Timothy. I did. It was sweet, indeed. Sweet in my thoughts and sweet to my heart. At least in my thoughts I can live out some past pain and process it well. :) Hugs
