Red Plaid Autumn

Autumn came swiftly on the heels of summer's lace I reached for his plaid jacket feeling the warmth embrace me with long arms of sweet recall

Carrie, this poem was brilliant. I honestly teared up when I first read it, as it reminded me on my Grandfather in law who passed 9 yrs ago. He was one man in a million, and anyone who was blessed enough to meet him, was the all the better for it - I miss him terribly, and this poem screamed him. Excellent, emotional and so true - this was a winner upon the first read. Well done. you seserve this! Love Kristin

This is truly sad. The emotional memory of someone no longer here spurred on by the season. Beautifully written. Love, Shar
