Love how you show both the delicate fragilness of life (via the leaf) and our own recognizing, desperate hope that there will be more tomorrow's. Well crafted.

Hello, Kim. I was concerned about you. I have been looking for your poems in some of these contest results. Being familiar with some of your work, if I don't see your name after one of the places, I assume you didn't enter. Glad to see you placed with this thought provoking entry. I often wonder about the answer to this question when I commit my soul to sleep at night. So far, I am pleasantly surprised to wake in the morning to a new day. Congrats on your win, my friend. many hugs. Janece

Something to ponder...Are we the leaf or just watching. I have been questioning my art as well.with the low comments and views. This is very good Kim.

Sentimental thought, Kim. Not many people give thought to the life span of deciduous leaves. Well done!
