Pillars of Truth

Face, race, pace The ways of the earth Much similar to that between falsehood and truth One has to walk through each One cannot choose either But in one hemisphere There remained some pillars of truth Perhaps near some shore Or in some fairy land Printing some false guesses I point out my falsehood But I guess Were those pillars anything extraordinary? By any means an exception. If on the shore They would be washed by the cold waves Like every pillar even of falsehood If on a fairyland Children would play around As would be with any other If in my lawn I would not even discover them As happens with the others Perhaps they are somewhere In a part of this huge sphere Perhaps they have the same destinies And little less achievements Than those pillars of falsehood. Somewhere they might stand with a little less fame Or by luck lame The pillars of truth.
