Personal Poem

I bet you still think of me when your alone Do you ever wonder about me? Whether I'm alone? I write you letters everyday but never have the courage to post them I bet your still a million miles away from me Here I am today, haven't moved on yet Your the reason I've been writing all these years People say I'm talented but they can't see the pain behind it all You left me empty, helpless and fragile I bet you have moved on, maybe now your happy While I sit here quietly, alone I watch the sunset I try to put pen to paper I try to empty out the painful thoughts as I write.

Thanks for reading my stuff. I'm 85 and slowing down, not quick to respond, but I hear you. Been there. Done that. Not over it yet. Love, daver
