Peaceful
The setting sun
glowed with amber
timbers
As it sank behind
the warm tidal
waters
It's silence
compared to the
timeless rhythm
Of the waves as they
lap relentlessly
upon shore
A soft rustle
lullabies you into a
hypnotic trance
Only to be broken by
a sea gulls cry
Not a breeze stirs
as peaceful silence
consumes
Invading the depth
of your soul.
