Peace Be With You Little Ones
Peace be with you little ones,
As you make your journey home,
So early in the day it seems,
To come upon your lives’ sweet gloam.
Peace be with you little ones,
Your smiles brightened up the earth,
And though we might no longer see,
They still in heaven spread their mirth.
Peace be with you little ones,
And those who would your guardians be,
There should be no cost put on lives,
So easily lost in tragedy.
Peace be with you little ones,
As you make your journey home,
So early in the day it seems,
To come upon your lives’ sweet gloam.
For the children and adults who lost their lives in Newtown Connecticut
