The house is as fresh as a drain - the toilet is blocked yet again - but 'nature arose' and holding my nose, I prayed as I yanked on the chain... written 5th June for Tania's limerick contest

Had me smiling because the other day I had to take the lid off and yank the chain. Thank goodness it is clean water but I still wrinkled my nose lol. love phyl

Woah that actually happened to ours and i thought it only happens here, yet now i realise it happens everywhere. But not everyone can write such a super cool limerick on it as you could. Kudos! Plz also read and comment on my newest poem too.

Ha ha. Congrats on your top billing, Jack. It took me a while to realise that the manufacturers always ensure that the cistern can’t deliver more water than the toilet can accommodate. Terry
