Opportunities

Opportunities Do not come as you please The thief on the cross had one, When all his life was done. But remember that rich man, Who perished with his plans. God's calling you NOW, Come to His fold of love. Opportunities Do not come as you please Today if you die, Do you want to cry? Would you burn in hell, Or live with Jesus, tell? Today is the day - Lord Jesus is THE way. So, make use of these opportunities, And come to God, you'll find true peace. ------------------------- 27.10.16 (The thief in 2nd couplet -- Luke 23: 39-43) The rich man in 3rd couplet -- Luke 12: 15-21)
ISAIAH 55:6, 7 - Seek ye the LORD while He may be found, call ye upon Him while He is near: Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and He will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon. 2 CORINTHIANS 6:2 - For He saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation. HEBREWS 3:15 - While it is said, To day if ye will hear His voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.

Incredible! A pastor preached a sermon on this very theme last week. Today is the acceptable day....as Jesus told Zacchaeus, "Today salvation has come to this house." Very thought provoking write. Thanks for sharing.
