unseen in forests creepy crawly things slither. . . inhabiting night miles from the black woods bolder creatures (upright) flit. . . whooping in the streets woods seem eerier towns' garish beasts seem wilder. . . and strangeness prevails For Linda Marie's Halloween Haiku Contest

sorry I was trying to be "subtle" heehee & wanted it to be halloweeny-- what I meant was you had a typo there-- instead of "o" it says abandan-- and I knew Dale sounded familiar- knowing that made your poem even more special :) thanks for your comments here I am trying (still!!) to figure out my placements --eek --hugs to you --nikko :)

Sounds like some Halloween night. Not my favorite day of the year. I can't even watch horror movies or I would be up all night. Must come from a scare I got in my teens while at a horror movie. My brother and his friends scare the crap out of me. God Bless Phyl
