Old Havana Please Welcome Me Vacation
Old Havana it's been a long time
since I felt your love.
Your warm oceans, and your beautiful skies
up above.
You soothe my soul with your island
breeze.
With your soft warm raindrops, that make
me feel at ease.
Ernest Hemmingway was writing here,
inspired by you, through out the years.
There are fiestas and tourist
in the market square.
Old Havana, I remember, I once
was there.
As I walk these old streets they
hide the tears of Castro's betrayal!
Seeing an Old Cuban man, his
dark eyes tell a painful tale.
The Cuban people always are so
kind.
On this little island, time left behind.
Antique cars from a different past.
Old Havana when you were at your
best.
I can smell the Spanish cooking in
the air.
The aroma of fried plantains, and
Chorizo is everywhere.
Senorita will you have this dance,
with me?
Cuban rhythms fill the air, as you
feel the excitement in the streets.
The blue ocean beckons me in for a
swim.
As I savor these beautiful waves
serenely rolling in.
A glass of Bacardi rum to ease my mind,
Wishing to savor this moment, for a long
long time.
I listen to a Salsa Cuban Band overlooking
the deep blue ocean.
While watching the sunset sinking and
touching all my inner emotions.
Old Havana again, please welcome me.
It is you my love, I've waited so long
to see...
