October's Kiss
By:Richard Lamoureux
I felt the breeze that you blew my way
With colourful leaves, you wanted me to play
I couldn't see the beauty, I was lost in yesterday
The summer that had passed, I wanted it to stay
A new day awaits, bathing the canvas in a sun Ray
Arousing yesterday's leaves, from where they lay
Octobers announcement, bounty of the bluejay
Kissed by the tender breeze, I blew your way.
A Poet Destroyer Collaboration
It was my pleasure to write a collaboration with Linda.
She is a bright star in our midst and brightens our sky.
