Nightmarish Shower
Having a shower is relaxing, water gently falling,
Soothing your naked body, but I nearly went sprawling,
I was staying with Ricky and Robyn his wife,
When an incident the most embarrassing in my life,
Took and shook away all my feminine power,
All because I nearly slipped and stumbled in the shower!
They bought non slippery mats, but had to pass,
It felt as if I was actually walking on glass,
They were renovating their bathroom, so for safety
Placed them right to the door, so thoroughly wet I bravely
Attempted to walk on the first one, nearly broke my neck,
Back to the shower oh goodness me, I felt like a wreck.
Tried to cool the water down as it had turned hot,
But the tap came off in my hand, oh no please not
Another disaster, the window had bars, onto which I held,
ROBYN I yelled come quick I can’t take a step, I felt
Helpless, Robyn rushes in – I’m as naked as the day I was born,
In my hand was the tap that had broken, I was quite forlorn,
Don’t worry about the tap, it does this every so often,
The door was open, I heard the dogs barking at the commotion,
All five Labradors rushed in, tails wagging, ready for a party,
Dudley the fattest is loving, so cuddy, but always so farty,
Ricky whistled for the dogs from the kitchen, they ran out,
The water was the right temperature, mats without doubt,
Were removed, and so eventually I finished my shower,
As I was stepping out of the bathroom, the lights went out,
We had no power!
