Nasty Habits

When I see you unkempt I know you’re having a bad day And; I can’t help but laugh When you say how disgusted you are At things all around We all make compromises In order to make it through You have that nasty habit Of forgetfulness Don’t you remember when you said, “Trust Me” And; I have that nasty habit Of forgiveness

This is a deep and powerful write, with a little honesty and integrity thrown in. Everyone need to learn to forgive when someone is having a bad day or loses your trust. Nice job

The last lines were the clincher; it reeled the whole thing in beautifully and anchored it firmly. They were really quite thought-provoking (as was the whole piece), but those last lines made me sit here for a minute and think, and I love it when a verse (or verses) make me go Hmmmmmmmmm, you know? Kudos! :)
