My Response To Rumi

Infinity begins from finiteness Big bang from a tense molecule Let us learn to be buds first For the expansion into a hibiscus Unfolding towards a sunshine Light looks up from gloom Let us get into the night The black nooks and corners Struggling for the beams Let it guide us towards a glow _______________________________ 4/12/2016 “If you desire healing let yourself fall ill let yourself fall ill.” - Jalaluddin Rumi ________________________________

Notions of light traveling make a philosophical smile, reflected perhaps.

Rumi certainly made his point - one does appreciate satisfaction once dissatisfaction has shown its ugly face. You have built on it well. Love your last stanza especially. One suggestion you might consider, last line, "Let them guide us towards a glow." where "them" refers back to "beams". Thanks for sharing and a hearty congratulations on your first place.

Thank you, Andrea ... As regards your 'different ways', I would like to add that the content is Rumi's, the one and same, the form is ours, and naturally diverse ...

You are too philosophical dear, Probir! Should ...worry? Haha! Beautiful and deep! In a few decades, I suspect, scientists would laugh with the big bang theory! This doesn't diminish the beauty and depth of your poem! A seven!

Great answer, Jeff. You covered the bases so well that I would have had to run so wide of them that I'd have been called out.
