My Mantra Will Be

my mantra will be. . . . this new year is better than last year's was for me (I can't see how the new year can be worse than last year, so i am trying to think positive next year, and I'll say that my year WILL be better!) Amen my friend. I spent several years a few years back that it seemed everything that possibly could happen did happen to me but God took mercy on me finally and made the demons back off before they killed me. No kidding, I felt cursed. Finally things started to get better. Just Hang In There Baby. God Bless and Merry Christmas, and Ask God For Help, He is your only salvation. JB :)

The key is not to think but to be. I know you will BE great next year too! Andrea, I apologize for not responding lately. I've had zero time to be online due to finishing the move my family and I just made to FL from SC. I should be on the Soup more often in the coming days to read and post more poetry (I have written hundreds of poems in the last few weeks but just haven't got the chance to post them).

I do hope that you will have a much better new year, and a blessed Christmas as well. Thank you for your comments on my poem Jesus. I'm afraid I have been uninspired since Sept, and have not been able to write anything in the past several months. Maybe the new year will be more kind and fruitful. Blessings to you and yours for the holiday season. Big

This is so funny...every comment I 've made this evening is preceded by Carolyn..It looks as though I am poetry soup stocking her. lol....Aren't these New Year's resolutions fun? Do we take them serious? One of my favorite authors says to put your energies toward the most important things in our lives and we won't have regrets..I try to live up to that. I believe next year CAN be better than last...TALK ABOUT a stressful year, huh? You were burning the midnight oil often. ;) Gwendolen
